When your campaign just won’t fire

What’s really happening?
Lemlist pauses sends for three common reasons:
Delivery windows misconfigured – Your chosen send schedule is too narrow or set in the past. If you’ve limited sending slots to, say, 9–10 AM but launch at 11 AM, Lemlist queues all emails until the next valid window.
Daily send quota reached – Each plan enforces a hard cap (e.g., 50 emails/day). Once you hit that limit, Lemlist holds any additional messages until midnight. Many users don’t realize they’ve exhausted their quota and assume a bug.
Leads not validated – By default, Lemlist requires you to review imported prospects before sending. If your list sits in “Pending Review,” Lemlist won’t fire a single email until you click “Validate All” or enable automatic approval.

Check and expand your time slots
Go to Settings > Sending Schedule. Ensure your working hours encompass the current time and extend long enough to cover all sends.

In Settings > Sending Limits, confirm how many emails you can send per day and how many remain. If exhausted, schedule the next batch for tomorrow or upgrade your plan.
Validate your prospects
Navigate to Prospects > Pending Review. Click Validate All or toggle Auto-approve to clear the queue. Once validated, emails will dispatch immediately.
That’s it—your Lemlist campaign should now launch without delay.
2) Additional tips to prevent future pauses
Set realistic send windows: schedule 8–20 AM to 6 PM to avoid missing slots.
Monitor quota daily: create a simple dashboard or calendar reminder when you approach 80% of your limit.
Enable auto-approval: if you trust your list quality, turn on auto-validate to skip manual reviews.
